The all-source analysis career field is significantly broad and encompasses numerous regions (e.g., Middle East, South America), threat-specific missions (e.g., Integrated Air Defense Systems, space, Russian air) and functional specialties (e.g., acquisition intelligence, publicly available information). Your specific position and assigned unit will develop with training, education and certifications.

Cyberspace operations analysts create and oversee the creation of all-source cyber intelligence products for the Defense Industrial Base. You will use applied analytical skills to perform technical analysis on cyberspace activities and capabilities to determine the intent of nation state and non-nation state actors.

Nuclear intelligence analysts start with a solid foundation of knowledge concerning all aspects of nuclear operations. This includes Nuclear Command, Control and Communications, nuclear weapons employment from certified bombers, intercontinental ballistic missiles and interoperability platforms, such as the National Airborne Operations Center and the Airborne National Command Post.

Space intelligence experts engage in all aspects of the space mission by enabling foundational, operational and tactical intelligence for indications and warning, space domain awareness, characterization foreign threats to U.S. space systems and services and characterization of foreign space services enabling adversary warfare in other domains.

Air Force Special Operations Forces (AFSOF) are active outside of armed conflict to create dilemmas for our nation's adversaries. AFSOF can create uncertainty and induce friction into our adversaries' decision-making cycles with lowered risk of escalation. With unique access and placement, you can provide information vital to our policymakers by revealing an adversary's actions in areas where traditional access is unavailable.

The Office of Special Investigations (OSI) is the only Air Force organization authorized to conduct law enforcement (LE) and counterintelligence (CI) investigations, operations, collections, functional services and other related activities. Counterintelligence is information gathered and activities conducted to identify, deceive, exploit, disrupt or protect against espionage, other intelligence activities, sabotage or assassinations by foreign powers, organizations or persons or their agents or international terrorist organizations or activities.
