We need physical scientists, engineers and computer scientists with bold ideas and an insatiable drive to accomplish what others think impossible. Our team at the Laboratory for Physical Sciences develops research concepts and sponsors government, academia and industry partners to advance future information technologies such as low power computing, cryogenic computing, quantum technologies and more. We are hiring multiple candidates in the following positions:

System Architect
Design and develop complex and novel hardware/software system architectures incorporating exploratory technologies to meet future challenges.

Mixed Signals Engineer
Develop new and incorporate existing products, technologies, and/or architectures to meet demanding digital/analog circuit design needs.

Integration Engineer
Conceptualize, establish, manage and support test development activities complex hybrid-technology systems.

Quantum Researcher
Lead research projects in quantum device physics, quantum information theory, and/or modeling and simulation to push the frontiers of computing and sensing.

Cryogenic Engineer
Lead teams to design, fabricate, assemble and test custom vacuum cryostats, magnets and other experimental cryogenic systems.

Fabrication/Manufacturing Engineer
Verify and validate custom semiconductor processes required to manufacture custom application specific integrated circuits (ASICs).
